They now need a Business Development Manager to build strong relationships within a group of 20 top investment banks by understanding their business & supporting it with training and dialogue with key users and contacts. You will also identify opportunities to increase the footprint of the M&A product and identify issues work to rectify these. This will mean that you also need to build strong relationships with other departments such as sales, client relations, development and IT. The person they seek must be degree educated with an understanding of the M&A arena. They must also have strong written and oral presentation skills and be confident in dealing at the highest level.
